Gridiron Gala

Since 1974, United Way and the National Football League have worked together to strengthen America's communities.  United Way of New York City created the Gridiron Gala in 1993 to celebrate this unique partnership.  Since its inception, the Gridiron Gala has raised more than $20 million to support United Way–led initiatives that benefit our city's most vulnerable children and youth.  Held each May at the Waldorf-Astoria, this New York City tradition is made possible with generous support of our partners the New York Giants and the New York Jets.
