Strengthening NYC Nonprofits

Most nonprofits do not have a professional development or "career track" program and very few have leadership succession plans. Many nonprofits also need trained volunteers to serve on the Board of Directors.
BoardServeNYC
BoardServeNYC builds the capacity of nonprofits in New York City by connecting them to a pool of prospective board members. The candidates represent a cross-section of New Yorkers of varied skills and backgrounds, all of whom are interested in joining boards. Board member candidates are trained in nonprofit governance.
